me and my girlfriend have two kids of are own. We are stuggling with are bill because we do not make that much money together. We need some help with money is there anying thing thatt people can help us with please.
First off I want to say I know everybody is having a hard time right now in this bad economic time...All I have to say is hold your head up high and know that things will get better.....Now after saying that I am a single mother of four beautiful kids.....I am working 2 jobs working Mon-Friday 13 hours.... Long days not being able to see my kids at times. It hurts really bad sometimes cause I really miss them and want to be with them but I know that I have to provide for them. Today I got my electricity turned off. As a parent I feel like a failure and im really trying to make ends meet but right now it's not happening. In order for my electrcity to get turned back on I need $1000.00. A deposit, past due amount and current amount for electricity to be restored. Right now with no electricity in my home I had to put my kids in a hotel since their is no lights or heat. What im trying to say is im not one to ask for anything im usually the giving one but right now I need help...If anyone knows what I could do or even help I would really appreciate it. I know there are worse stories of people truly suffering out there. I really appreciate people reading my story.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2008, that alone was enough to deal with. But during that time I had to have my surgery, then my chemo, which lasted about 5 months and then my radiation treatments. Well, because I was in the hospital so much I lost my pay at work, I lost my home and my car was reposessed. So here I was trying to fight to stay alive and fight to earn a living at the same time. And on top of that I am a single mom with a 14 year old son and I need to support him also. Well every since this all happened I just can't seem to get a break. Every job I do get is commission only and then there is no business to back up the commission.
I just need some help to get back on my feet and not lose the home that I am now. I never envisioned my life would be such a struggle. I am usually a very bubbly and out going person with a great out look on life. I still have hope that things will turn around for the better. But sometimes we need a little help to get there. If you are reading my story, I want you to know that it takes a lot for me to ask for help, I guess it's my pride that stands in my way. I felt like it was my problem and I should not burden anyone with what is happening with me. However, I have decided to humble myself and graciously receive any offering that may come my way.
To get me stable again I would need around $3500. I also would be willing to make monthly payments to whomever would be kind enough to share their generoisty with me.

It may be all he has, but why would he or should he be saddled with the debt? Why would he assume debt/mortgage which is clearly higher than the actual value of the property? He would have a better chance with a fresh start rather than beginning on his own w/your dad's debt.

Can someone refinance home when on disability? Our father died last wekk, and my brother who is on SSDI lived with and took care of our dad. For reasons not necessary to disclose, my father refinanced the house to death, and now the house is worth far less than what is owed. The minimum payment ( which is interest only) is too high for my brother to pay on his SSDI. It seems like relatives cannot be bothered and loan counselors are not helpful given his situation. The house is all he has , along with a beautiful and loving dog who go where he goes. Finding renters is a possiblity, but this is a bedroom community where there are more families than single renters.
Does anyone have any suggestion? Thanks in advance.
I'm so sorry about your situation. I wish I had the money to help you but I'm just squeaking by. It never fails to amaze me the way our goverment seems to go out of their way to screw us instead of help us...and who were the big mouths who just had to "run and tattle"...where do these people come from...? I mean, were you really hurting anything by having your barely adult daughter (tell her I'm an old lady n she's a kid still) whos still in school stay with you while you are disabled and needing help to care for yourself and your other daughter. Yeah...I know there are rules for a reason, but come on, section 8 is supposed to be there to help house the people who need help...you and your children need help. I'll pray for you and hope you get all the help you need.
I am posting here as a last resort. I am a single mother. I injured myself at work and have been fighting a constant battle for the Workers Compensation benefits due me. In the meantime my 25 year old daughter moved back in to help me with bills and to help take care of my 13 year old daughter.
I am on section 8 housing, and they pay a portion of my rent. When my daughter moved back in to help me the Housing Authority actually raided my house on the allegation that I had "unreported income" from 5 unautorized people in my home. (I did not.) Because of my daughters presence (without whom I would have had ZERO income since the beginning of the year and been unable to survive at all) they charged me with Felony Perjury. I had to get a lawyer to stay out of jail, which my daughter has so far paid $5,000 to. She is trying, but her finiancial aid and the little she makes at work are not enough for food, clothes and utilities due to the high Legal fees.
We have managed to keep on the essentials: Electricity and water, but our gas was turned off months ago-when it was summer this was unimportant, but in this cold weather we have been taking cold showers-in a house with no heat, this is making my 13 year old sick.
Unless we come up with at least a partial payment, our Electricity is going to go off as well. The disconnection date is today.I can provide my Edison account # to you so you can make payment directly to them so you know where it is going.
If you live in the Inland Empire (california) and can help me, then in exchange I can offer you free babysitting. I was a head start teacher for years and have tons of experience.
I do my best to help people in need, and this year have made character blankets for the children of at least 4 families for christmas.
If someone can find a way to help my family I would be grateful.

I am in desperate need of financial help. I was in the process of moving from where my kids and I live and I found another place. I gave the guy my deposit of $1500.00 and the house was to be ready for us to move in the weekend after Christmas. I have since found out it was all a scam his house is ready to go to auction any day.
I tried to stop payment on the money orders (money gram) and they do not offer that, they said that there isn't anything they could do for my situation.
So now I have no more money and nowhere to live with my kids. We were arranged to stay at different family members homes and apartments until we could move in. Now I do not know what to do.
I have not ever asked for help before and I am having a hard time doing it now.

I have a very special friend of mine, who has been there in every time of need for me. I am currently going through divorce and have a 15 year old son. I am trying to clean up my credit, and as soon as I start paying some of my bills, I get slammed with such a huge bill. I recently got in the mail a ticket that I had gotten 8 years ago, they tell me I owe it, its $914.00 and another one, that I am still investigating for $826.00. I am trying to refinace my car. I recently got a speeding ticket, and that is $412.00 I am struggling with a new buisness I started, and am working full time. My son wants to go to basketball camp, which is $400, and I just dont see how I am going to pay all this. I am also having to go to parenting classes with my Ex husband, because of our communication, that cost $195.00. They are going to work with me on a payment arrangement. I need about a $5000 loan. I would like to pay off these debts, and some others. I will pay it all back. Please let me know if you can help. I want to build my credit, and purchase a home. I am making a new beginning, I just need a jumpstart.
